Yes, this is allowed. However, the big advantage of 12 volt is that the cables do not have to be buried 50 cm underground, which means that an electrician is not required.

Connecting Ludeco lighting is very simple. You place the lamps where you want them and lay the main cable along the lamps. The Smart Life app is an app that lets you manage and automate smart devices via your smartphone or tablet. Here are the basic steps to use the app:

  1. Download the Smart Life app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Create an account or log in with your existing credentials if you already have an account.
  3. Add devices by clicking on the "+" icon in the app. Follow the instructions to connect the device to the app and your Wi-Fi network.
  4. Manage your devices. Once your devices are added, you can easily control them through the app. Turn them on or off, set timers and discover many more handy features.

In the Smart Life app, click on the lamp you want to set. Click "More Actions," then click "Timer" in the lower left corner. Set the timer when you want the lamp to turn on and/or off. You can also do this by using scenes.

To reset a Smart light, connect the lamp to a standard fixture. From the ON position, turn the lamp OFF for about 5 seconds and then ON, OFF, ON, OFF, ON. If the lamp now flashes, the pairing mode is active.

If the lights or devices do not connect (after resetting), it is important to check carefully that you are using a 2.4GHZ connection and your router's settings are correct.

Some routers provide two different Wi-Fi networks, one of 2.4 GHz and one of 5 GHz. It is important to note that Ludeco's smart lights can only connect to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. To set up your smart light, make sure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. For more detailed information on network specifications, please refer to your router's manual.

Yes, definitely! You can control the lights wherever you are with the app, provided you have internet. Group your bulbs, set a color or go for a color temperature that suits your garden.
